Exciting News!!

I have some exciting news to share with you today. I've been accepted on the gel-a-tins design team! It's my first design team and I am so excited to be working with gel-a-tin stamps and to become a gel-a-tina!!

If you haven't heard of them, here's a little more about them. Gel-à-tins™ are clear stamps that are soft and sticky like a gelly candy and they come stored in a handy metal tin. You'll find a wide assortment of letter and image stamps as well as build-your-own layering stamps you can use to create your own unique designs. Totally Yummy!

Check out the gel-a-tins blog today to meet the other new members of their design team and go to their Web store at www.gelatinstamps.com to check out some of the totally cute gel-a-tin stamps. Also, be sure to like gel-a-tins on Facebook so you can keep up with the latest gel-a-tin news. Check back soon to see some of my first creations with gel-a-tin stamps!

Have a great day!!

Lawnscaping Holiday Blog Hop - Haunted Halloween Card

Welcome to the first ever Lawnscaping Blog Hop!  So glad you’re here! You should have come to me by way of the very talented Ivy.  This month's theme is Holiday projects!! The hop runs from Friday, September 9th - Sunday, September 11th! Make sure to comment on all of the blogs because there are LOTS of prizes to be won! All the details can be found on the Lawnscaping home page.

Next head on to the extremely talented Ashley Newell's blog. If you've gotten off track, don't worry! Head on back to Lawnscaping to see the complete list of designers and prize information!

I made a card using the new Happy Haunting stamp set from Lawn Fawn. I paper pieced the house and made the ghosts from Clearly for Art modeling paper by Wendi Vecchi. You just stamp the paper with permanent ink, cut it out and heat with heat tool. When it becomes soft you have about 10 seconds to mold it before it hardens in place. I added some close ups of the ghosts so you can see the effect - it's kind of hard to see on the straight on card picture.

Here's my card:

3. Cut a circle in purple and green paper.
4. Draw a curved line on the green circle and cut out.
5. Adhere the bottom part of the green circle to the purple circle and adhere to card.

7. Stamp moon and bat and cut out
8. Adhere paper-pieced house and moon to card
9. Stamp ghosts on white Clearly for Art paper and cut out
10. Heat ghosts with heat tool and when they become soft shape them the way you like - you have about 10 secs (if you don't like how it turns out - heat it up and shape it again)

12. Cut vellum banner from die and stamp sentiment
