Old School Mother's Day Card

This card uses simple paper piecing, sanding and embellishments to make a clean & graphic card for my Mom. She taught typing and keyboarding for 30 years so I knew I had to make her a card with this typewriter stamp.


Materials List
Stamp Set - My Type (clings) - Hero Arts
Inks - Ink Pad - Basic Black - Stampin' Up
Card stock - Black, Crumb Cake, & Whisper White - Stampin' Up
ColorCore Card Stock - Aegean - Cosmo Cricket Neutrals Collection - (Core-dintions)
Embellishments - Letter Stickers (Making Memories) Black Brads (Micheal's)
Tools - Heart Attack Distressing Tool (We R Memory Keepers) Paper Snips - Martha Stewart
Adhesives - Stampin' Up SNAIL

Instructions
1. Create card from Crumb Cake card stock - fold long ways
2. Stamp Typewriter and sentiment on Whisper White card stock and cut out with paper snips.
3. Cut black card stock to 5 x 3.75 and adhere to card
4. Cut Aegean core-dinations card stock to 4.75 x 3.5, distress with Heart Attach tool and adhere to card
5. Adhere typewriter to card
6. Add black brads to corners
7. Add stickers that spell Mom

Simple Baby Shower Card

This card uses simple shapes and punches to create a sweet baby shower card that you can create in 15 mins or less.



Materials List
Stamp Set - Friendly Flags (clear stamps) - Hero Arts, Sweet Shoppe Alphabet Lowercase (clear), Fun & Fast Notes (wood mount) - Stampin' Up
Inks - Ink Pads & Stampin' Write Markers - Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist - Stampin' Up
Card stock - Wild Wasabi, Marina Mist, Whisper White - Stampin' Up
Embellishments - Blue Twine - Papertrey Ink
Tools - Circle punch, scallop circle punch - Stampin' Up, Paper Snips - Martha Stewart
Adhesives - Stampin' Up SNAIL

Instructions
1. Create card from Marina Mist card stock - fold long ways
2. Stamp flags and letters and cut out
3. Stamp Baby Carriage in Wild Wasabi, color in polka dots and punch out
4. Punch Circle Scallop on Wild Wasabit card stock and attach to baby carriage circle then adhere to card
5. Glue twine and adhere flags to card.

3 Dresses Friendship Card

This card uses coloring with markers and stitching techniques. I got the idea for the color scheme from the Stampin' Up Color Coach.

Set - Material Girl - Cosmo Cricket, Teeny Tiny Wishes - Stampin' Up
Inks - Ink Pads & Stampin' Write Markers - Elegant Eggplant, River Rock, Melon Mambo - Stampin' Up
Card stock - River Rock, Eggplant Envy, Whisper White - Stampin' Up
Embellishments - Melon Mambo Buttons - Stampin' Up, Hot Pink Thread - We R Memory Keepers
Tools - Modern Label punch and Word Window punch - Stampin' Up, Sew Easy Stitch Piercer - We R Memory Keepers
Adhesives - Stampin' Up SNAIL

Instructions
1. Create card from River Rock card stock - fold long ways
3. Cut Elegant Eggplant rectangle to 5 1/2 x 2 inches and adhere to card
4. Cut out 3 Whisper White rectangles to 1 1/2 x 2 inches
5. Stamp a dress on each white rectangle and color in with Stampin' Write Markers
6. Use the Sew Easy Stitch Tool to make holes on the edge of the rectangles. 
7. Sew thread into the stitch holes and tie in a knot
8. Adhere Elegant Eggplant rectangle to card
9. Adhere 3 dresses rectangles to card
10. Tie thread in buttons and adhere to card
11. Stamp sentiment and Whisper White and punch out with Word Window punch 
12. Punch sentiment background on Melon Mambo paper with Modern Label punch
13. Adhere sentiment punch to background and adhere to card.

Bright Orange HI Card

This card uses a Monochromatic Color scheme to produce and striking and happy HI card.

Tools - Go Go Boots Alphabet dies, Corner Rounder, 1 3/4 scallop punch, 1 1/4 circle punch - Stampin' Up, Big Shot
Adhesives - Stampin' Up Snail and Stampin' Dimensionals 

Instructions
1. Create card from Tangerine Tango card stock - fold long ways
2. Round corners with corner punches
3. Cut Tangerine DSP to 5 1/2 x 3 1/2 and adhere to card
4. Stamp 3 Orange in Tangerine Tango ink on Whisper White card stock and cut out with circle punch
5. Punch 3 scallop circles and attach orange circles with Stampin' Dimensionals foam tape
6. Attach scallop circles to card with Stampin' Dimensionals foam tape
7. Cut out Hi in Whisper White card stock using Go Go Boots die with the Big Shot (use scraps) and adhere to card
8. Adhere flower button to card
9. Tie ribbon on card

Colorful Valentine's Day Card

This colorful Valentine's Day card uses the Paper Piecing Technique



Materials List
Stamp Set - Filled With Love, I Heart Hearts, Teeny Tiny Wishes- Stampin' Up
Ink - Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Yellow, Regal Rose - Stampin' Up 
Card stock - Melon Mambo, Tangerine Tango, Daffodil Yellow, Regal Rose - Stampin' Up
Embellishments - mini library clip - Stampin' Up
Tools - hearts punches, word window punch, modern label punch - Stampin' Up
Adhesives - Stampin' Up Snail Adhesive

Instructions
1. Create card from Whisper White card stock - fold longways
2. Stamp and cut out or punch out hearts in melon mambo, tangerine tango, daffodil delight and regal rose, then adhere to card
3. Cut various sized strips of the four colors and piece them together covering the bottom of the card and adhere to card
4. Adhere hearts on top of bottom paper pieced area
5. Stamp sentiment in Regal Rose and punch out sentiment and border and adhere together and the adhere to card with a Stampin' Dimensional - then add library clip (I never add adhesive to the clips, I just use foam tape with the bottom part and they stay on fine)






Just a Note "Stitched" Card

This card uses the faux stitching technique.

Embellishments - Melon Mambo Pom Pom Trim, Crumb Cake button, Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button, Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain Ribbon, Stitch Piercer template and tool, White Gel Pen, Work Window Punch, Modern Label Punch - all Stampin' Up
Adhesives - Stampin' Up Snail Adhesive


Instructions
1. Create card from Crumb Cake card stock - fold longways
2. Cut Designer Paper into 9 small rectangular pieces
3. Use the stitch template to poke holes in the small rectangles.
4. Use white gel between each hole
5. Adhere rectangle to card
6. Adhere Melon Mambo Pom Pom trim to top and bottom of card
7. Stamp sentiment on Confetti White paper and punch with Word Window punch, then cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock with the Modern Label punch and adhere them together, add Pom Pom trim and adhere to card
8. Glue Pumpkin Pie corduroy button to Crumb Cake button, then glue Rich Razzleberry ribbon to button and adhere to card

Blissful Black Magic Card

This is an example of a card created using the Black Magic Technique

Inks - White Craft Ink - Stampin' Up

Colored Pencils - Crayola
Gel Pen - White - Stampin' UpAdhesives - Stampin' Up Snail Adhesive

Instructions
1. Create card from Black card stock - fold longways
2. Cut Designer Paper to 5 1/4 x 4 inches and adhere to card
3. Cut Black Card Stock to 5 x 3.75 inches
4. Stamp images on black with white Craft Ink and wait to dry - you can use a heat tool to speed things up if you want to do it at one sitting
5. Color over white area with colored pencils
6. Add white dots with gel pen (if you use 2 step stamping sets you can use white ink on the outline and get a similar effect)
7. Adhere black card stock to card

The Sweetest Day Card

Materials List
Stamp Set - Sweetest Day from Unity Stamp Co., Itty Bitty by Jillibean Soup
Inks - Stampin' Up Markers in Real Red, Garden Green and Basic Black
Card stock - Stampin' Up Real Red, Whisper White
Designer Paper - Stampin' Up Real Red, Garden Green
Tools - Corner Rounder, 2 1/2 inch circle punch, 3 inch & 3 1/2 inch circle dies, Big Shot all from Stampin' Up
Adhesives - Stampin' Up Snail and Stampin' Dimensionals


Instructions
1. Create card from Real Red card stock - fold on top
2. Cut white card stock to 5 x 4 inches, round corners and adhere to card
3. Cut white 2 1/2 inch circle with punch and cut 3 & 3 1/2 inches circles with dies using the Big Shot
4. Adhere the circles together using the Snail adhesive and adhere to card
5. Stamp the Strawberry in Black Ink twice
6. Color just the top leafy part of one and cut out.
7. Color the other Strawberry entirely. I used Stampin' Write Markers in Real Red, Garden Green and Basic Black.
8. Adhere the top of the Strawberry that you cut out on top of the other Strawberry that you colored in completely. Adhere with Stampin' Dimensionals to add a more interesting 3-D effect.
9.Stamp Sentiment on card.
