The Play Date Cafe #159

It's time for another color challenge at The Play Date Cafe. This week it's everybody's favorite - a color splash. And our splash of color this week is Maroon. So you project should include black, white and a splash of maroon. Perfect for your holiday projects. I hope you can join us this week. I can't wait to see what you create!!

My card uses a sweet Christmas girl from a stamp set by Artistic Outpost called Frosty Friends. The papers are Whisper White, Cherry Cobbler and Basic Black from Stampin' Up. The ink is Tuxedo Black by Memento and Cherry Cobbler by Stampin' Up. The dies are Nestabilities. I stamped her once in Cherry Cobbler and cut out her sleeves and hat. The rhinestones are Queen & Co.

Merry Christmas Snowflake Seal

I made this card for the current Cupcake Craft Challenge - to use Paper Pleating. I made the rosette with the Tim Holtz Rosette Die. The papers are Holly Jolly Christmas by Echo Park. The stamps are from Technique Tuesday - Merry Christmas Snowflake Seal stamp set. The kraft paper is Tim Holtz Kraft Core and the ink is Tuxedo Black - Memento. Thanks for stopping by!

Have a Sweet Christmas

I made this tag for the current Lawnscaping Challenge - to make a tag. This tag uses paper from Lawn Fawn Fa La La and the stamps are all from Sweet Christmas. I colored with Copics. The twine Peppermint Hemp Cord from Lawn Fawn. Thanks for taking a look!

Celebrate the Season

I made this card for A Blog Named Hero challenge. The challenge is to take an old card and make a new version of it. I made a card with the Car with Tree stamp last year for a 90 Minute Flickr Scramble and I decided to remake it. This time I embossed the snowflakes and added bling to the centers. I also added glitter paper on the bottom and changed the sentiment to Celebrate the Season. The stamps I used were all Hero Arts - Holiday Sayings, Car with Tree, & Stunning Snowflakes. Joyful Holiday - Cupcake Craft Challenge

I made this card for the current Cupcake Craft Challenge. It's a sketch challenge this week. I haven't been able to play there for a while so I was glad to get some time this weekend to make a new Christmas card using this fun sketch. Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge

I made this card for the current Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge. This week it's a sketch challenge. I used the Swanky Snowdudes stamp set. The papers and the trim are Crate Paper - Peppermint. I colored the images with Prismacolor Pencils and blended with Gamsol. Thanks for taking a look!

The Play Date Cafe #158

Welcome to this week's color challenge from The Play Date Cafe. Our beautiful colors are Rose, Eucalyptus, & Slate. Since next week is Thanksgiving in the USA, we are making this a 2 week challenge so you will have some extra time to play!! The stamps I used are from Papertrey Ink - Think Big Favorites #20 and Snowflake Flurries. The inks I used were Wild Wasabi, Regal Rose and Basic Gray from Stampin' Up. The card stock is Whisper White and Basic Gray and the ribbon is Basic Gray - all from Stampin' Up.

The Play Date Cafe #157

It's time for a new color challenge at The Play Date Cafe! I love purples and I think this week includes the most shades of purple I've ever seen in a PDC Challenge!! This weeks colors are Plum, Fuchsia, and Wisteria. I don't have a lot of patterned paper in these colors, so I went to my stash of Stampin' Up colors and ended up using Perfect Plum, Elegant Eggplant and Rich Razzleberry. I also used a texture plate from PTI on the white card stock. Then, I did something I rarely do, I pulled out the Cricut. I made this cute butterfly that I got from a cartridge called A Walk in My Garden. It was so big, I just left off the sentiment so I could use it for almost any occasion. I really hope you are as excited about these colors as I am and that you will join us this week. I can't wait to see what you come up with using these fun and different colors!

Welcome to this week's Play Date Cafe Challenge. Our colors Cinnamon, Squash, Vanilla, and Sage. These are perfect Autumn and Thanksgiving colors.
