The Play Date Cafe #141
It's time for another great color story from The Play Date Cafe. This week our colors are Mint, Soft Yellow, Coral, and Tulip. For my baby card I used different patterned papers from Stampin' Up, a cute Giraffe stamp from this week's sponsor DRS Designs, and the sentiment is a rub-on from Pebbles. I colored the Giraffe with matching colored Copic Markers - Jade Green, Coral and Pink.
I hope you will play with us this week. These colors are fun and I can't wait to see what you come up with! One lucky winner will receive some awesome stamps from DRS Designs. If you haven't been to their store before, be sure to click over and check them out. They have TONS of super cute stamps.

CAS-ual Fridays - Kraft & Twine
I'm entering this card in the current CAS-ual Friday Challenge. I decide to move away from the holidays and make this cute birth announcement. The Onesie stamp is from Unity and the sentiment is from Lawn Fawn. The twine is My Minds Eye Lime Twist and the little clothes pins and decorative papers are from Stampin' Up. Thanks for taking a look!

Baby Elephants
I wanted to use these Elephant stickers to make a baby card for this months Paper Crafts Baby Challenge and I couldn't figure out what to do with them. Then, tonight this came to me. I really like it because the black is unexpected for baby, but I think it works.
Materials
Card stock - Whisper White, Basic Black (Stampin' Up)
Stamp Set - Short & Sweet (Stampin' Up)
Ink - Black (Stampin' Up)
Stickers - Mrs. Grossman - Simply Sassy (I love that they're Mrs. Grossman, I used to fill up sticker books as a kid with Mrs. Grossman stickers.)
Twine - Charcoal - The Twinery
Embossing Folder - Dots (Stampin' Up)
Die - Tasteful Trim (Stampin' Up)
Punches - Word Window, Modern Label (Stampin' Up)
Instructions
1. Make card from card stock
2. Cut a 2 inch strip of black card stock and run through the Tasteful Trim die and adhere to card
3. Place elephant stickers on the card.
4. Add twine (it easiest to adhere if you just rub glue all over it and you will get messy)
5. Stamp sentiment then punch with word window
6. Punch black scrap with modern label punch and adhere word window to it
7. Punch small holes in black background
8. Put twine through the holes and tie on the back of the card
