Welcome to this weeks color story at The Play Date Cafe. Our colors are Wine, Pumpkin, & Moss. A perfect Autumn color palette. Our sponsor this week is EAD Designs. I'm the Sunday Inspiration Girl at EAD Designs and just LOVE their stickers and vinyl. They graciously provided the design team with Stickerz to use on our project this week. The Play Date Cafe Challenge #143

It's an exciting week for The Play Date Cafe. It's the first challenge for all of our new designers. And, we get to show off our new watermark created for us by the uber talented Jacqueline Miller! 

This week our colors are Cherry, Mint Julep, and Jade. I've had this super cute new Lawn Fawn stamp set for a while and when I saw these colors, I knew it would be perfect for this week's color story.

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #142

We have another great color story this week at The Play Date Cafe. Our colors are Cobalt, Goldenrod and Peony. Over the past few day The Play Date Cafe has been welcoming and revealing the new designers who will officially start on the team next week with our August 2 Challenge. However, we are also sad to say goodbye to Savannah, Colleen, Jinny and Denise. They have all been here so long and will be missed. I know we will all continue to visit their blogs and support them in their future endeavors.

Since it's so hot here, I thought I would do a summer card. The paper is Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, and Whisper White from Stampin' Up. The cork is also from Stampin' Up. All the stamps and dies are from Papertrey Ink - Heart to Heart #6 & Flipping Out. I stamped the sentiment using Versafine Archival ink.

Play Date Cafe Challenge #136 & DT CALL!!

It's Thursday so that means it's time for a new color challenge at The Play Date Cafe! This week the colors are Azure, Raspberry and Blackberry. To make my card I used a fun stamp set called Girl Talk. The papers I used are all from Stampin' Up - Rich Razzleberry, Elegant Eggplant and Island Indigo. The ribbon is also Stampin' Up in Elegant Eggplant. (Be sure to read until the very end - this post is filled with TONS of fun information!!)

The Play Date Cafe Challenge #131

We have a group of fun colors this week at The Play Date Cafe - Seaweed, Algae, Goldfish and Black. I used a Paper Smooches stamp set called Party Posse. I love that dinosaur and I thought I would use some shapes in the set to make him a party hat - the top of it has some Rock Candy Distress Stickles on it. It took me awhile to sort out these colors, but once I did I had so much fun making this card. I hope you'll play along this week!!

Super Exciting NEWS!!!

I am beyond excited to share with you the news that I've been asked to be a Private Blend Designer for The Play Date Cafe Challenge Blog!!! I am thrilled to be joining this wonderful group of amazingly talented and super friendly designers. I've been playing at the PDC for a long time now and I have grown to love their color challenges. I'm so grateful for this opportunity and I can't wait to get started. My first challenge will be Thursday, May 3.
