5 for 5 Thanksgiving Day 4 - Turkey

Welcome to Day 4 of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Turkey". We are all sharing a project where we used a turkey. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme. Some of us are offering prizes, so be sure to visit all the links below and leave comments. And join us tomorrow for our last day.

For my card today I used a Unity Stamp Company Stamp set called Build a Turkey. It's one of my favorites. I stamped the turkey and feathers in several different colors of Ranger Archival ink and color them in with Prismcolor pencils and blended with my new Prismacolor blender marker -love it!! The thought bubble is from Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is from a Unity Itty Bitty called Gobble Gobble. I adhered the turkey and sentiment with foam tape. A straightforward card that I made in about an hour tonight!! Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the designers blogs below for more Thanksgiving Inspiration.

5 for 5 Thanksgiving Day 3: Sentiments Only

Welcome to Day 3 of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Sentiments Only". We are all sharing a project where we used with the focus on sentiments. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme. Some of us are offering prizes, so be sure to visit all the links below and leave comments.

For my card today made my own subway art panel with sentiments and a couple of filler graphics. The sentiments come from so many companies like Unity, Papertrey Ink, Lawn Fawn, Impression Obsession, Hero Arts, Altenew, Denami Designs and Mama Elephant. I used Ranger Archival inks and my MISTI to help me line things up. I adhered the panel to a piece of DCWV colored cork. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the designers blogs below for more Thanksgiving Inspiration.

5 for 5 Thanksgiving Day 2: Pumpkin

Welcome to Day 2 of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Pumpkin". We are all sharing a project with a pumpkin focus. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme. Some of us are offering prizes, so be sure to visit all the links below and leave comments.

For my project I used a piece of wood. I painted it with a light brown acrylic paint. I stamped the pumpkin with Archival Ink and colored it with colored pencils. The pumpkin stamp is from Just For Fun Rubber Stamps. I inked the edges of the pumpkin and block with a Faber Castell Design Memory Craft Big Brush Pen. Finally, I adhered the pumpkin to the block with DecoArt decoupage. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the designers blogs below for more Thanksgiving Inspiration.

5 for 5 Thanksgiving Day 1: Watercolor

Welcome to Day 1 of our 5 for 5 Thanksgiving Blog Event. Today our theme is "Watercolor". We are all sharing a project where we used watercolors. Each day our 5 Designers will post a Thanksgiving Inspired Project based on a theme. Some of us are offering prizes, so be sure to visit all the links below and leave comments.

For my card I used Avery Elle Stamps. I water colored a piece of card stock with Koi Water Colors and cut it down to fit around the acorn. I stamped the acorn on Kraft card stock and then brushed it with a light brown water color to make it fit the water color look better. I colored the leaf with green distress inks. I added some Tim Holtz Hemp twine on the bottom. The square stitched die is from Lawn Fawn. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out all the designers blogs below for more Thanksgiving Inspiration.
