This paper reminded me of a candy cane. I used a new PaperArtsy JOFY stamp set. I really love this big present. I fussy cut some paper scraps, layered with some kraft and white card stock and added lines with my Faber Castell Pitt Pen to add a little interest. It's an easy and cute Christmas card. Patterned Paper Christmas Cards
Every year I buy a new Paper Collection to make Christmas Cards with and this year I chose the Snow Fun Collection by Carta Bella. I decided to make a video showing how I decide which collection to buy and what I look for in a collection that I will be using mainly to make cards.
To make my first set of cards I used one piece of patterned paper that had ornaments all over it. I cut out each ornament and made a card with each ornament as a the focal point. I also used a sentiment from the Hero Arts stamp set Dimensional Layering Bird and the Avery Elle postage stamp die.
This is the paper I cut the ornaments from. I also used brads from the same collection.
Here's a video I made showing how I made these and why I picked this collection. I don't love it, but I think it's better than the last video I made at the beginning of the year. Hopefully, I'll like my next one better. Thanks for stopping by! https://youtu.be/-Yi7AtX0AHw
