I got a couple of Impression Obsession stamps from my local craft store, The Stamping Place. They're a little different than my normal style, but I like to try everything. It's fun to make things a little out of my zone. I'm also entering it into the Moxie Fab Challenge - In My Beautiful Balloon. To play along or see the other entries click here.
Card stock - Bashful Blue, Whisper White (Stampin' Up)
Stamp - Shoe Balloon (Impression Obsession)
Color Mediums - Black (Memento) Markers - Assorted Colors (Copic), Distress Ink - Broken Chine (Tim Holtz)
Twine - The Twinery
Brads - Michaels
Foam Tape - Stampin' Dimensionals (Stampin' Up)
Instructions
1. I took a 12 inch long piece of scrap paper and scored it 3 inches from each end and folded in the ends. The finished size is 6 x 6.5
2. Then i took the stamp and traced the outline of the rubber stamp itself with a pencil and cut out the area
3. Then I sponged on distress ink on the front - being sure to go over all edges so they're a little darker
4. Stamp the image and color with markers
5. Then I put the paper behind the cutout, traced around the image on the line of the cut out area and cut around the image on that line.
6. Attach Balloon panel to card with foam tape
7. Add brads and tie twine around them.
