Day 4 of the 12 Days of Holiday Projects 2013

Welcome to Day 4 of the 12 Days of Holiday Inspiration Blog Event brought to you by "The Inspiration Crew".  We’re just a group of online crafty friends who love being creative. This time we're doing a 12-day event to provide you with tons of Holiday Inspiration.

We're making crafty projects using products we like and some of us are even offering prizes. Check each blog and the information there for what prizes are being offered and when the winners will be announced on that blog.

At the bottom of this post is a list of all the crafty ladies participating in this event. Be sure to visit all the blogs each day for loads of fun Holiday craft ideas.

I'm offering prize!! My prize is a $20 gift card to Michaels. I will announce the winner on my blog on Friday, December 13. To be eligible just make sure you are a follower of my blog and leave a comment. The more days you leave a comment, the more chances you have to win. So that's it - easy peasy

This year I have a theme to my projects - it's called use what you have and keep it simple. For those of you who don't know me, I've been busy building a house this year. The process started last February and construction started in early June. I sold my old house and moved in with my parents last May. So, I have not been nearly as crafty as I like to be this year, I just haven't had the time or the space.

I haven't purchased any new holiday stamps, just a couple of new 6x6 papers pads, Distress Glitters and some clearance embellishments when I was in London on vacation. So, if you are overloaded with supplies, I challenge you to start using up your stash instead of always buying the latest and greatest. I'm going to show you some quick and easy projects over the next 12 days that you can make using things you already own.

Today I'm sharing an alternative to wrapping paper. I have these little boxes - about 4 inches square that are perfect for ornaments or small gifts. To decorate the box I added some red polka dot Washi Tape on the top and the bottom and in the center I added a cute Little Yellow Bicycle Holiday Sticker. Just add a big bow on top and you have an easy and cute gift that looks great and helps you use up your stash!!

7 Days of Easter Projects - Day 4

Welcome to Day 4 of The 7 Days of Easter Projects Blog Event. Several crafty bloggers and I are posting 1 Easter project a day for 7 days - just for fun. We’re posting projects we made using products we like and hope they will give you some inspiration for your own Easter craft projects. You will find links to all the other participating bloggers below. Hopefully you can find time to look at their blogs and leave comments on any that inspire you. Happy Easter Crafting!!

Please excuse my shadows and CAS projects, but I'm in the middle of moving and my house is on the market and my light box is packed and all my crafty things are in different closets and it's just not easy to get to my stuff right now!! So, that being said, for today's project I have another card that features papers and a rosette from Little Yellow Bicycle. The bunny is a Lawn Fawn Stamp from Critters in the Burbs and the sentiment is from the Lawn Fawn Stamp set called Happy Everything. I colored the bunny with a gray and pink Copic Marker. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you'll come back tomorrow for Day 5!

Welcome to Day 3 of The 7 Days of Easter Projects Blog Event.

For today's card I used papers from Little Yellow Bicycle - Hello Spring. The bunny is a Tim Holtz die and the twine is from Doodlebug Designs. The sentiment stamp is from Hero Arts. I love these colors for Easter and this bunny is my favorite. I just decided to make a simple, graphic Easter card. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you will be able to stop by the other participants blogs and come back tomorrow.

Tuesday Trigger: Squares to Cherish - Very Lovely

I made this CAS card for the current Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger Challenge - Squares to Cherish. Click the link to join in on all the fun. I was inspired by the colors of lime, black, gray and aqua. I thought this decorative paper was a great representation of the main colors in the trigger photo, plus the repeating pattern on the paper reminded me of the repeating square pattern on the quilt. Thanks for taking a look!!

Here's my card.

Materials
1. Card stock - Lucky Limeade, Pool Party, Black (Stampin Up)
2. Decorative Paper (The Paper Studio)
3. Fabric Sticker - Elizabeth Park (Little Yellow Bicycle)
