For my project, I chose to "Put a Stamp on It." I used this big house stamp from Carabelle Studio in France. You can purchase this stamp at Topflight Stamps. The stamp is called Maison.

I created the background applying Dina Wakely paints and adding some stamping an rub-ons. I took this photo before I decided to add the rub-ons.
I colored the house by putting a baby wipe over my finger and rubbing it on a Tim Holtz Crayon and then rubbing on the paper. I adhered the house to the canvas with thick foam tape. To finish it off I added some Prima flowers that I thought looked like a hedge. Thanks for stopping by!
Oh so fabulous Donna!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh Donna, I just saw that you are a SC girl - me too! Where do you live? I'm near Greenville. I just love how you used this Carabelle Studios house stamp - AMAZING! Hugs, Autumn

ReplyDeleteThis is beautiful. I loved your tip about how to use a babywipe with the distress crayons. Never thought of it, always used my finger till now. Needless to say, didn't really use that technique a lot because of dirty fingers :-)
