Hello Daisy

I made this card for the current CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #50 to use flowers or trees. I used this cute Daisy stamp that's in a fun Unity stamp set called Cuckoo Clocks. The sentiment is from a Stampin' Up set called Hello Again. I colored the Daisy with Copics and used Nestabilities for the scallop circle and circles. The ink is Memento - Tuxedo Black. Thanks for stopping by!! (I've added a little about my dog Daisy at the bottom of this post)

Here's my card.

I've been wanting to use a Daisy for a while now. I've posted a lot about my dog Callie who passed away in January and of course Dusty who had her Leap Day birthday party in February. But, I do have another dog who is 13. She has never been an alpha girl and she's always stayed in the background and followed Callie's lead. Her main goal in life is to please me and do what she's supposed to do. How awesome is that? She has the best nature and is so easy going.

I was surprised at how "lost" she seemed without Callie - she wouldn't even "go out" at night without me for a few days. But, she has now made the adjustment and is spending a lot more time with me and she's figured out that being on the couch is awesome and I can now officially call her a "couch potato" - which she never was before. She has a heart murmur and I don't know how long she'll be with me, but while she's here I plan to spoil her (more) rotten. I've even included a little video of her after she licked up a big glob of ketchup - she loves ketchup. I'm not into videos, but I love it when she does this - I even added music. So this post is for you Daisy!

  1. Beautiful CAS card, Donna! The colors of the Daisy and white space are in perfect balance! So glad that you play with us at CAS-ual Fridays! I love the video of your sweet doggie! So hilarious that she loves ketchup :)

  2. Hours of entertainment... with just a little ketchup, she is so beautiful! FAB funky card too, awesome CAS design!

  3. Ah I have an adoring Lulu as my dog! It's wonderful the way they adore us so much, if only we were as amazing as they think we are lol. LOVE your card, it's so fresh and funky!!!

  4. Daisy seems to love that ketchup! LOL Bless her swweeeet little heart; wish I could give her a hug.

  7. Hey Donna! This is so cute! I love that flower! Thanks for playing along at CAS-ual Fridays!

  8. I am so sorry about your loss, Donna. My daughter's Great Dane has had 2 strokes and she is on heart meds now. They give her around 6 months. It is so hard to lose the memebers of your family. TFS that cute video.

I also love your card!! Love how you mounted it too!

  9. We lost our 2 beautiful Westies last year aged 14 & 16. The younger one (Mackie) suddenly collapsed one day and when he died, Kayleigh went down hill rapidly, she just gave up. She passed away 3 weeks later, but during that time we had lots and lots of cuddles. It was a very sad time. We now have 2 new very cute & feisty puppies, but I still miss my babies every day.

I appreciate your comments.
