Tuesday Trigger - Deck the Halls

I'm so glad I FINALLY had time to make a challenge card and especially one for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger. I love the photo this week. You can click here to join in on this fun Moxie Fab challenge. I really wanted to use this super vintage ornament stamp set which is an exclusive Studio Calico/Hero Arts stamp from one of the Studio Calico December KOM add-ons (Nov was my bday month so I had to get an add-on since I got the $5 off coupon!). I just love these ornaments. I was definitely inspired by the colors in the photo and of course the ornaments.

To make the background I colored each dot with markers - this assures that it is not the card you're going to make to send to all your friends and family this year - that took a while. Once I stamped it, I thought it was a little too bold for the background so I put a piece of vellum on top of the Distressed Dots panel to subdue the colors. Then I attached the panel to white card stock with foam tape. I stamped the ornaments, cut them out and adhered them to the vellum with foam tape and added twine.

Thanks for taking a look!

Here's my card.

Materials
1. Card stock - Whisper White (Stampin Up)

3. Ornaments Stamp - Studio Calico/Hero Arts
