Old School Mother's Day Card

This card uses simple paper piecing, sanding and embellishments to make a clean & graphic card for my Mom. She taught typing and keyboarding for 30 years so I knew I had to make her a card with this typewriter stamp.


Materials List
Stamp Set - My Type (clings) - Hero Arts
Inks - Ink Pad - Basic Black - Stampin' Up
Card stock - Black, Crumb Cake, & Whisper White - Stampin' Up
ColorCore Card Stock - Aegean - Cosmo Cricket Neutrals Collection - (Core-dintions)
Embellishments - Letter Stickers (Making Memories) Black Brads (Micheal's)
Tools - Heart Attack Distressing Tool (We R Memory Keepers) Paper Snips - Martha Stewart
Adhesives - Stampin' Up SNAIL

Instructions
1. Create card from Crumb Cake card stock - fold long ways
2. Stamp Typewriter and sentiment on Whisper White card stock and cut out with paper snips.
3. Cut black card stock to 5 x 3.75 and adhere to card
4. Cut Aegean core-dinations card stock to 4.75 x 3.5, distress with Heart Attach tool and adhere to card
5. Adhere typewriter to card
6. Add black brads to corners
7. Add stickers that spell Mom
