Just a Note "Stitched" Card

This card uses the faux stitching technique.


Here are instructions for creating this card. I hope you find them easy to follow and useful. Finished size is 4 1/4 x 5 1/2 inches.



Materials List
Stamp Set - Apple Blossom Hostess - Stampin' Up
Ink - Rich Razzleberry - Stampin' Up 
Card stock - Crumb Cake, Rich Razzleberry, Confetti White - Stampin' Up
Designer Paper - Razzleberry Lemonade - Stampin' Up
Embellishments - Melon Mambo Pom Pom Trim, Crumb Cake button, Pumpkin Pie Corduroy Button, Rich Razzleberry Grosgrain Ribbon, Stitch Piercer template and tool, White Gel Pen, Work Window Punch, Modern Label Punch - all Stampin' Up
Adhesives - Stampin' Up Snail Adhesive


Instructions
1. Create card from Crumb Cake card stock - fold longways
2. Cut Designer Paper into 9 small rectangular pieces
3. Use the stitch template to poke holes in the small rectangles.
4. Use white gel between each hole
5. Adhere rectangle to card
6. Adhere Melon Mambo Pom Pom trim to top and bottom of card
7. Stamp sentiment on Confetti White paper and punch with Word Window punch, then cut a piece of Rich Razzleberry Card Stock with the Modern Label punch and adhere them together, add Pom Pom trim and adhere to card
8. Glue Pumpkin Pie corduroy button to Crumb Cake button, then glue Rich Razzleberry ribbon to button and adhere to card

  1. Very fun card Deb. The pompom trim really adds a punch. Might be fun to use Pinking shears on the paper too for a fabric look to go with the faux stitching. Love the gel pen - such a cool tool.
