It's time for another pretty color challenge at The Play Date Cafe. This week our colors are Grass, Rose Petal and Hibiscus. I used papers from my Studio Calico Card Kit Club, Basic Grey Letters, pink enamel dots from My Minds Eye and Shiny Green Rhinestones from Queen & Co. Our sponsor this week is The Twinery, so be sure enter for a chance to win some awesome twine!!

This is also the last week for our Private Blend Designer Ashley Bores. She has contributed some amazing creations over the last three months and we will miss her. Be sure to stop by her blog and leave her some love.

The Play Date Cafe #178

It's that time again. This weeks Play Date Cafe colors are Hot Pink, Lightning Yellow and Shadow. Our sponsor this week is Cas-ual Fridays Stamps and they have generously provided The Play Date Cafe Design Team with stamps to use on our projects this week. I love the graphic set I got that features a large hexagon you can fill with several different words to make tons of sentiments.

I used Cas-ual Fridays stamps with Neon Pink Hero Arts Ink. The papers are from American Crafts. I love to see what our players create every week. I hope you will come play with us!!

The Play Date Cafe #177

Welcome to this week's color story from The Play Date Cafe. Our colors are Midnight, Aqua and Terracotta. For this card I used papers from my March Studio Calico Card Kit. The chipboard sentiment was also in the kit. The wood arrow is from Freckled Fawn and I cut some midnight blue paper in the same shape to put behind it so it would show up more. The ticket die is from Hero Arts and the twine is from Whisker Graphics. These are really fun colors and I think you're going to love making your project this week. Can't wait to see what you come up with!!

Our sponsor this week is Simon Says Stamp.

The Play Date Cafe #176

Welcome to this week's color challenge at The Play Date Cafe. Our colors are Cappuccino, Slate and Burlap. Our sponsor is Jenni Bowlin Studios who graciously provided the PDCC Design Team with stamps to use on our projects this week.

I made a gift bag for my project this week. I cut a canvas drawstring bag in half and stamped on the bag with Early Espresso ink from Stampin' Up. I stamped the Grocer image on Ivory cardstock in Basic Grey ink from Stampin' Up and then distressed the edges with the Tim Holtz distresser tool. I put the Ivory panel on a piece of burlap from Canvas Corp and then I added some Crate Paper buttons with jute twine from American Crafts. I folded down the top and secured it with a Tim Holtz clip.
